PERFECT fifth. damn right baby.

Alrighty. Perfect Fifth was a mother big freaking fun night! Was a success man, totally. From like less than 30% sales 3 days away from the concert to about 75% on the day itself. No mean feat. I think our J1s are imba selling monsters. This just proves that girls are at least 5 times better than guys at selling things. I swear!

Moving on, concert time! I was bloody nervous before the concert, sitting backstage. Omg. Worse than last year, worse than all my 4 years in SJIMB playing for Renaissance. But at least after playing the first piece I didn't feel nervous anymore. Weird man. So we blazed past the first half, only screwing up a little :x SORRY LA OKAY ITS ME I CANNOT DO MY RUNS ): bass strings too fat. hahaha. And then it was the 2nd half. Zomg. Stress stress my band was the first one to play. But at least we had our Freddie masks to cover our faces. Wahaha. Khairi suggested it becuase we would THINK that people can't recognise us (but obviously everyone can) thus enabling us to perform seemingly stupid moves such as headbanging. And so we did. Headbanging and all (albeit to a controlled extent) until my neck hurt the next day. So we played Back in Black by AC/DC and I Will Survive by Cake. Taufiq was a monster, his guitar solo at the end of I Will Survive was the epitome of wanking. Indeed. Hahahaha.

Fast forward! Shall not bore you with the descriptions of what we played and stuff. You just gotta know, it was good. Only screwed thing was that the air con broke down halfway. I could literally see people fanning themselves with their programme booklets. Hahaha. Concert ended on a really good note with us doing a really good Brazillian Street Dance run and with Genrong (ZOMG -fangirl faints-) singing You Raise Me Up. Imba indeed, even Jasmine Cheong couldn't maintain. ROFL. She was going RED!

Anyway, thanks to all who came, and thank you for shouting all the random shit like "EH DOGGG!", "STOP UMCHIOING LA SOO", "YOU NOOB!", "TIM SOO!" blah blah. All dogs sia you! Pics will come another day because some ppl (SKIPPY) refuse to send me pics. Oh well. But I guess I'll be missing guitar alot. Never thought I would but I am now. 2 years, so quickly. No more guitar practices ): Thanks all for making this journey a blast!
